Portable Water Pump
A portable water pump runs off of batteries or gas to
provide a means to move water even when electricity is unavailable.
This is great for camping applications. For example a canoe that has
become too heavy with water (due to a downpour) to turn over can be
drained of water using one of these pumps.
A portable water pump can also remove water that has built
up on a swimming pool cover, making the cover difficult to remove. Removing
the water off the cover helps to extend the cover’s life. The
pump simply needs to be placed where the water has collected, with an
output line to direct the water to a more acceptable area.
On flat roofs, a portable water pump can stop leaks. In
areas where the flat roof collects water leaks often arise. A water
pump can remove the water from the small pools formed as temporary solution
until the roof can be repaired.
