Solar Water Pump

A solar water pump utilizes the energy from the sun to run. A small solar panel collects sunlight and converts it into usable electricity. While these pumps may not generate as much power as gas or electric pumps that can be just as effective at keeping water moving.

One of the most convenient things about a solar water pump is that no wiring needs to be installed. This means that a gardener can have a fountain or pond in the far corner of the garden without having to tear up the whole landscape to install it. The fountain will flow all day uninterrupted with the rays of the sun.

Another huge benefit of a solar water pump is that they are virtually noiseless. Those with small pools can even use a solar pump as opposed to loud electric pumps that often use more horsepower than they need. A solar water pump can cut the utility costs of owning a pool in half.
