Water Pressure Pump

A water pressure pump moves water from one place to another like a regular water pump, the main difference is the amount of pressure that is generated upon output. The water is sucked into the inlet and then pushed out a higher pressure through the outlet. This kind of pump is usually used in RV’s to provide enough water pressure for showering and cooking.

A water pressure pump has a pressure tank that helps build the pressure of the incoming water. The tank has a rubber bladder filled with air within it. The bladder helps to maintain equilibrium in the system and prevents hard cycling.

The water pressure pump is turned on and off by a pressure switch. The switch senses a change of pressure in the system and pumps more water into the tank as needed. Once the pressure becomes great enough the pump is shut off.
